Duck Flighting
Between October and January and subject to weather conditions, there is an opportunity for guests to organise an evening of Duck Flighting. Availability for this activity must be agreed in advance with the Estate Factor and the cost will be in addition to any house booking and payable directly to the Estate.
Pitch & Putt Mini Golf Course
There is a splendid 10 hole pitch and putt mini-golf course in the Garden Grounds and a selection of golf clubs & balls are available.
Clay Pigeon Shooting
Clay pigeon shooting can be arranged for a party of 5-10 adults by prior arrangement through the Estate factor’s office with a local gun club. The estate can provide rifles, shotguns and ammunition and will happilt be able to securely store personal shotguns in the strong room.
Target Shooting with Estate Rifles
On a non stalking day the estate staff are available to instruct guest on the use of stalking rifles at the firing range and this is a good opportunity to test your parties skills. (A small charge will apply for this activity.)
Walking Routes
Maps and guidance can be provided on suitable walking routes for all abilities and the Estate’s vast acreage gives an opportunity to view the scenery and wildlife of the West Highlands at first hand and at a pace to suit yourself.
Wildlife
The local area supports a diversity of wildlife including red deer, golden eagles, osprey and other birds of prey along with regular sightings of seals in Loch Linnhe and otters at the river estuaries.
Useful Information
It is advisable that all guests liaise with the stalking staff before planning a route so that both safety and the daily stalking beats are considered and it is also advisable that a minimum of two people should walk together.
